Mrs. Nadine Elizabeth (Eade)
(She/Her/Hers)
Hello! My name is Nadine, and I am an associate therapist with MindRight Counselling and Consulting Ltd. I hold both an Associates of Arts and Bachelor’s of Arts degree majoring in Psychology from Langara College and the University of British Columbia. I also hold a Master’s of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University, and am a Registered Clinical Counselor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC).
At the heart of the work I do lies compassion and curiosity. I work from a de-pathologizing and affirming framework and believe in the inherent wisdom and resources of the individuals that I work with.
Sessions with me are typically structured within a trauma -informed, humanistic framework; which acknowledges the relationship between the biological, psychological and social aspects of life and health. Additionally, I integrate Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, DBT, attachment theory, parts work/IFS, and gestalt elements into my work as I learn and understand more about what the client’s goals and needs are.
My aim is to create a safe and non-judgemental space for clients to explore and re-connect with their core selves with the aim of living a more authentic and peaceful life.

Alexandra Melo
(She/Her/Hers)
Hello, I’m Alex. I am a graduate student at Adler University and am currently completing my practicum with MindRight Counselling. I hold an undergraduate degree in psychology from Thompson Rivers University.
My hope is to offer a space where you can speak openly, feel accepted as you are, and move at a pace that feels manageable. I provide low-cost sessions in both English and Portuguese, available virtually and in person. We can work together to make the process feel comfortable and accessible, focusing on what matters most to you rather than following a predetermined idea of what therapy should look like.
My approach is mainly informed by narrative therapy. Together, we may explore the stories you have come to believe about yourself, where they came from, and whether they still reflect who you are or who you would like to become. I also draw from Internal Family Systems and person-centred therapy, which may involve gently exploring different parts of your experience while keeping your strengths, choices, and understanding of your own life at the centre of our work.
Outside the counselling space, I love cats, musicals, craft projects, and getting absorbed in a good drama series. If you are wondering whether we might be a good fit, you are welcome to book an initial consultation. It is simply an opportunity to talk about what you are looking for, ask any questions you may have, and decide whether working together feels right for you.

Ms. Lynn Yao
(she/hers)
Hi, I’m Lynn. I’m currently completing my Master of Counselling Psychology at Adler University, and I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of British Columbia.
I believe therapy is a space where you can slow down, be yourself, and talk openly about what’s happening in your life. My approach is grounded in existential therapy and also draws from trauma-informed, mindfulness, somatic, and emotion-focused approaches. I work collaboratively with my clients, and rather than telling you what you should do, I hope to help you better understand yourself, your emotions, your relationships, and what truly matters to you.
As an immigrant myself, I understand that navigating different cultures, values, family expectations, and a sense of belonging can sometimes feel complicated. I welcome people from all backgrounds and aim to create a space where different parts of your identity and experience can be understood and respected. I offer counselling in both English and Mandarin.
Most importantly, I hope you can come to therapy as you are. My goal is for you to feel genuinely heard and understood, while we work together toward a life that feels more meaningful and true to you.
